A Note To The NJPAC Community

Hi everyone, my name is Brother Paul. I am scheduled to perform at NJPAC’s Victoria Theater on Sunday April 21st. There will be two shows, a matinee at 3 pm and an evening show at 7 pm.

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My real name is Paul Rosevear, but it’s difficult to remember, pronounce, and spell, so I came up with the name “Brother Paul” to make things a little bit easier on everybody.

NJPAC is an amazing place. When it first came to the city of Newark, it was a real sign of progress and prestige. Newark has such a deep history, but it almost never makes the headlines for the right reasons.

Anyway the point of this letter is just to encourage you to come out on the 21st. I’m pretty much trembling now thinking about it—the idea of getting up on stage in front of a 500-seat theater by my lonesome is scary but also thrilling, so I figured the more of you who know who I am beforehand, the better.

Unless you find that you really hate me and my music in which case, please do not come to this show and forget the name Brother Paul entirely. My name is Paul Rosevear.
